Key Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and technical leadership.
  • Applies and/or develops highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to meet the needs of the Business area.
  • Viewed as a leading expert in applying technology and solving operational issues.    

Impact: 

  • Develops technological Ideas and guides their development in to a final product.
  • Leads the planning and implementation of large projects/programs.
  • Identifies changes and improvements in industry requirements, products and processes.
  • Determine how to apply new technologies and improved operating processes. 

Interaction with others: 

  • Manages intermediate to large engineering project teams.
  • Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling or specific phases of engineering projects or contracts.
  • Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal management and external representatives concerning specific operations. 

Financial Accountability:

  • Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets and business plans in technical area conducts periodic review of financial and operating performance.
  • Provides the organization with financial (resulting value stream profitability) as well as technical information on projects and assists the organization in making the appropriate prioritization/portfolio decisions.
Required Skills
  • 15+ years of experience related field.
  • Supervisory training and experience. 
  • Project Mgmt. experience.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
