Kelly Services in partnership with Cummins has an immediate openings to join our team at Cummins Power Generation in Fridley, MN. We have a Yard Logistics/Forklift Operator opportunity available on 1st shift Monday-Friday, with chance for a direct hire after 90 days for increased pay and great long term benefits! 

Position starts with a $500 sign-on bonus, apply for more details! 

• 1st shift: $20.00 / hour
  • Mon-Fri 7am-3pm(Start time of 5am on OT days)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires experience safely operating Large Forklifts (20k lb capacity) Tractor experience preferred - do not need to be currently certified
• Warehouse or inventory experience required. Outside Lumber, millwork, or large building material experience preferred.
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work outside year-round (rain, snow, ice, heat) – 50% to 70% of time working outdoors 
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs; bending, squatting, kneeling, walking and standing in a outdoor and warehouse environment 
• Be able to adapt to variation in work direction depending on need as well as being able to work independently and self-motivated. 

 

What's a typical day as a Yard Logistics Operator? You'll be:

• Driving Large Enclosed Outdoor Forklift (20k lb capacity) in the outdoor shipping and receiving yard at the plant. Working in a Forklift that is enclosed with doors, windows, heat and a/c
• Moving large parts such as fuel tanks from the yard into the building and shipping/receiving warehouse 
• Moving parts around in the yard 
• Unload materials from incoming trucks and stack them to assigned places. 
• Picking, filling, and preparing orders in an accurate, thorough and efficient manner
• Keeping material organized and clean in shipping area and yard.
