Pay rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour - Depend on Experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm
Term: Temp to hire
What's a typical day as a Welder/Fabricator? You'll be:.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Weld and fabricate components using aluminum, steel, and other metals according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in other departments as needed, including but not limited to: glass handling, assembly, and general shop duties.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Certified Welder (AWS or equivalent).
- Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Proficiency in welding aluminum, steel, and other metals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and safety practices.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
