Job Title: Data Center Associate
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Associate to join our team. This position offers a temporary-to-hire opportunity with the potential for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain or warehouse environments and possess strong computer skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers.
  • Perform quality checks on freight for accurate part numbers and quantities.
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and manage replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
  • Accurately place server racks on the data center floor using laser measuring devices.
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to provided diagrams.
  • Install rack hardware using various hand and power tools.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with 5S standards.
  • Engage in physical activities, including frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Qualifications:
  • Must speak and write English fluently.
  • Previous experience in supply chain or warehouse settings is preferred.
  • Comfortable with computer usage; familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including constant movement and bending.
  • Experience with hand tools and assembling large items is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to follow directions are essential.
  • Willingness to cross-train and adapt to various roles as needed.
Work Environment:
  • Climate-controlled data center.
  • Required attire includes ESD (electrostatic discharge) shoes (must be steel-toed or composite) and a high-visibility vest (provided).
  • Casual attire such as appropriate-length shorts is acceptable.
Additional Information:
  • Lockers will be provided for personal items; phones and electronic devices are not permitted on the floor.
  • Breakroom access includes a fridge, microwaves, and vending machines.
  • All employees will undergo a daily metal detector check upon entering or re-entering the warehouse.
  • Timekeeping will be managed through an eye scan system and badge usage.
