Warehouse Associate – Distribution Center

Location: Somerset, NJ
Pay Rate: Starting at $23.83/hr
(Listed in compliance with New Jersey's Temporary Workers Bill of Rights)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule
  • Wednesday–Sunday | 40 hrs/week

  • Wed–Fri: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Sat–Sun: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Days Off: Monday & Tuesday

  • Overtime: May be available on Tuesdays based on business needs

Role Overview

Support warehouse operations by picking, packing, loading, and unloading product. This role helps bridge staffing gaps and reduce overtime for permanent employees.

Work Environment
  • 65,000 sq. ft. non-automated distribution center

  • Not climate controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter)

  • Walk 6–9 miles per shift

  • Strong safety culture (nearly 2 years injury-free)

  • RF gun system in use; automation launching mid-January

Job Duties & Physical Requirements
  • Pick, pack, load, and unload product using push carts

  • Cross-train in multiple warehouse roles

  • Occasional ladder use

  • Lift 10–15 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs for a small portion of items

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience required

Training & Expectations
  • Orientation and facility tour on Day 1

  • Structured training and coaching for 90 days

  • Attendance is critical, especially during the first few weeks
