Position: Unlicensed Nursing Assistant
Location: Beaumont, TX
Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full-time
Pay Rate: starting at $13.80 DOE
Schedule: Option for both day and night shifts.
Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a dedicated Unlicensed Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for providing exceptional care and ensuring patients have a comfortable and positive experience during their hospital stay. The position does not involve administering medications or therapies, nor independent responsibility for patients.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide designated patient care services under supervision, adhering to physician orders and approved care standards.
- Record patient data, including graphics, intake/output, and ADLs, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Monitor and recognize baseline physical and mental conditions for the assigned patient population.
- Report relevant observations to licensed nurses to assist in care planning and intervention.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing psychosocial needs with sensitivity.
- Safely utilize and adapt equipment for patient care based on patient age and condition.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and supplies per established guidelines and safety protocols.
Required Education and Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
Required License/Certifications:
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
- Possible tuition assistance for individuals pursuing further education in nursing.
- PTO accrual that rolls over to the next year if unused. (up to 300 hours)
- HSA
- Counseling sessions for personal or family use.
- Extra pay for holidays.
