  Job Title: Travel Coordinator / Project Coordinator

Client: GCI
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Pay Rate: $24.00–$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (standard business hours)
Work Type: Onsite

Position Summary

The Travel Coordinator / Project Coordinator will support internal project teams by coordinating travel logistics, tracking project-related activities, and providing administrative and coordination support. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and travelers to ensure schedules, documentation, and logistics are accurate and aligned with project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements including flights, lodging, transportation, and related logistics

  • Serve as the main point of contact for travel-related questions and changes

  • Track travel details, approvals, and expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies

  • Support internal project coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status updates

  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure travel aligns with project requirements

  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and administrative support as needed

  • Help manage calendars, meetings, and project coordination tasks

  • Provide general project and administrative support to ensure smooth execution

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous experience in travel coordination, project coordination, or administrative support preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or Google Workspace

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting project teams or coordinating logistics

  • Familiarity with expense tracking or travel systems

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changes

  • Strong follow-through and reliability

Work Environment
  • Office-based role in Anchorage, Alaska

  • Fast-paced environment requiring strong coordination and communication
