Job Title: Tissue Technician (6 Openings)
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Industry: Medical Device / Life Sciences
Pay Rate: $20/hr – $25/hr (Contractor pay rate)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 2–3 months
Education Required: Degree in Biology or related scientific discipline

Overview:
Kelly Services is currently seeking Tissue Technicians to support a leading medical device company dedicated to advancing cardiovascular implant and surgical technologies. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a background in life sciences to gain hands-on experience in both quality assurance and lab operations in a regulated and purpose-driven environment.

These roles will operate at the intersection of quality tasks and operational support within the Human Tissue Quality Assurance and Tissue Processing Lab. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a lab-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review quality documentation including cleaning records, tissue repackage initiations, solution batch records, and autoclave/cryocycle records

  • Perform physical and electronic transfer of human tissue allografts in LN2 freezers

  • Receive, inspect, label, and document incoming tissue

  • Disinfect, assemble, and sterilize laboratory instruments

  • Prepare disinfectants, solutions, and intermediates for lab use

  • Clean and maintain both tissue processing areas and general lab areas

  • Launder laboratory scrubs and handle waste disposal

  • Monitor and record lab equipment parameters

  • Manage lab supply stocking and maintain the materials system

  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation for all tasks performed

  • Adhere to SOPs and training requirements prior to performing assigned duties

  • Perform other related responsibilities as needed
