Kelly Services is seeking a Test Operator, based at a dynamic electronics manufacturing company in West Melbourne, Florida

Temp to Hire
Pay DOE - $18-$20
Schedule- 2nd shift, 3:30pm to 11:30pm

The Test Operator I is responsible for testing product using specific test fixtures and tools. Reports to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection, product specific test set-up and operation.
  • Follow product specific test procedures.
  • Data enter test results in the quality system, interpret test diagnostics, label and route product to the next level in the process.
  • Identify and report defective components.
  • Assemble and/or program circuit board assemblies as required.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of work-in process associated with work cell. Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace.
  • Participate in Quality team meetings, as required.
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
  • Maintain ESD integrity within production environment
  • May train other employees.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ years of experience in electronics, specifically in a test environment preferred. Knowledge of PCB assembly, product assembly processes, component value identification and other component nomenclature.
  • Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
  • Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic teamwork environment. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001.
  • Speak, read and write basic English comprehension 
  • MUST BE ITAR compliant
