Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant (Fluent in Korean Required)
Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports To: Senior Manager, Finance / Accounting
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance and accounting team in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Korean and English (both verbal and written)—this is a strict requirement due to the nature of our business operations and internal communication.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and the flexibility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:-
Monthly Close & Audit Support (35%)
Assist with and complete month-end close and audit processes. -
Transaction Recording & Analysis (25%)
Maintain accounting ledgers by accurately recording day-to-day financial transactions. -
Reconciliations (10%)
Prepare and reconcile checks, payments, bank deposits, credit cards, cash deposits, and bank statements. -
Financial Reporting (10%)
Produce ad-hoc and regular financial reports and statements (monthly, quarterly, annual). -
Accounts Payable/Receivable (10%)
Manage and support A/P and A/R functions and maintain income statement accounts. -
Verification of Financial Documents (10%)
Review invoices, receipts, and employee expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4 - 6 years of relevant experience in accounting, budgeting, reporting, data analysis, audits, taxation, and month-end close.
Language Requirement:

Fluency in Korean and English is mandatory—both written and spoken.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with Bank of America CashPro is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Office-based environment with some exposure to warehouse conditions.

Frequent use of computer and office equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper equipment.

Occasional extended hours may be required.

Valid driver's license in good standing required.
