Sr. Procurement Analyst – Milpitas, CA

Kelly Project Services, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Sr. Procurement Analyst for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Milpitas, CA.
This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a Kelly Project Services employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. You ll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time. All Kelly Project Services employees receive annual performance reviews.

Title: Sr. Procurement Analyst
Location: Milpitas (95035) onsite. Must be willing to travel locally to visit suppliers within a 20 mile radius of the Milpitas campus .
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $45hr or more based on experience; plus benefits and PTO
Duration: Six month contract with possible extension.

Job Responsibilities:

• Negotiations with suppliers
• Create negotiation strategies
• Data analysis
• Work with cost improvement initiatives

Required Core Skills:

• Knowledgeable of Procurement Sourcing Strategies RFI, RFP, RFQ
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office Programs
• Experience with MS Power BI is highly desired
• Strong Project Management and Multi-tasking Skills
• Data Analysis Utilizing Excel VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
• Supplier Management Communication and Stakeholder Management
• The Ability to Influence without Authority
• Familiarity with Cost Modeling Analysis Required

Technical Skills:

• Proficient to Advanced skills in MS Office programs.
• Heavier usage of Excel and PowerPoint expected. For Excel, at a minimum you will need to have familiarity with Pivot Table analysis, basic index matching / VLOOKUP capability and be able to work with large data sets.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Supply Chain
• 3 years of work experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain
• Must be comfortable with leading negotiations with Suppliers to deliver favorable price variances and CIPs for the business
• Experience with leading or participating on cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in analyzing spend data and supplier performance

Preferred:

• Experience with developing dashboards with either Microsoft Power BI or other tools
