Shipping and Supply Chain Management Analyst
Location: Troy, MI
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7 am to 4:30 pm 
Pay: $45K- $50K annual salary

Job Summary:
As a Shipping & SCM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the material flow monitoring, inventory management, and logistics operations of our company. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth shipment preparation and delivery, managing material engineering control, and providing exceptional customer service and support. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to various other tasks, such as assisting the Warehouse and Accounting Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor material flow and inventory management, including EDI releases, manual releases, and requirement updating.
- Download, validate, monitor, and manage DELFOR data.
- Generate material requirement reports and follow up with HQ.
- Identify and validate material requirements with customers.
- Track and monitor in-transit materials and coordinate container deliveries.
- Monitor and control material engineering issues and manufacturing issues with HQ.
- Control test reports and track new parts and control material technical details.
- Prepare regular and expedited shipments, print labels, and generate commercial invoices.
- Coordinate pick-up arrangements and communicate with milk-run dispatch teams.
- Schedule container pick-ups and deliveries with forwarders.
- Provide customer service and support, including order confirmation, expedite shipment facilitation, and response to customer requests.
- Access customer applications and websites for requirement updating and confirmation.
- Resolve issues related to ASNs and label non-compliance.
- Monitor and respond to Chrysler Supplier Scoreboard and GM PPPS.
- Track, monitor, and report customer ratings.
- Perform other duties such as customer debit tracking, invoice monitoring, and preparation of shipping documents.
- Assist in the preparation and updating of SCM-related documentation.
- Attend meetings, conference calls, and supplier training sessions as required.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare meeting minutes.
- Monitor and track bulletins for any updates or changes.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in shipping, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proficient in material flow monitoring, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of EDI releases, DELFOR data, and material requirement reporting.
- Familiarity with material engineering control and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to coordinate shipments, pick-ups, and deliveries with various parties.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using customer applications and websites for requirement updating and confirmation.
- Knowledge of Chrysler Supplier Scoreboard and GM PPPS is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
