Shipping Associate – Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Shipping Associate at one of our Global clients in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.  This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Location: Palm Beach Gardens (33410)
Pay: open; plus benefits and PTO
Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Duration: Long term contract

Job Description: Inventory Worker - Shipping Associate: The primary focus will be on international shipping, with an emphasis on handling dangerous goods batteries . This is a desk-based position that requires frequent sitting and standing, with a strong emphasis on shipping operations.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems highly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
  • Picks finished goods throughout the warehouse as required by sales order ship lists.
  • Processes goods and supplies including unpacking, verifying, labeling, and distributing to appropriate location.
  • Fills requisitions for goods and materials.
  • Maintains and verifies accounting records for supplies received and dispensed
  • Coordinates appropriate shipping companies/departments when shipping items and educates user departments regarding shipping requirements.
  • Assists in preparing shipping goods and relevant equipment.
  • Performs physical inventories and cycle counts
  • Maintains the record of wait delivery requests and notifies the appropriate department supervisor of material and/or goods that are not on schedule.
  • Maintain the logbooks up to date for optimum material flow.
  • Makes inquiries of inventory to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
  • Reports shortages to supervisor.
  • Performs other related material handling activities including maintaining proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and keeping physical inventory.
  • Exercises care in handling materials.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Required previous experience with FedEx and UPS terminals
  • Highly preferred Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems highly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
