Kelly® Engineering is seeking a Senior Staff Supplier Development Engineer for a direct-hire position at a leading-edge, global defense technology company based in Dallas, TX with operations in Hyderabad, India. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead supply chain operations for a new manufacturing facility in India. The Senior Staff Supplier Development Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing sourcing strategies, onboarding local suppliers, and ensuring operational alignment with the company's global production goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in supply chain management, international sourcing, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement supply chain processes for the company's new facility in India.
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard regional suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability and minimize supply disruptions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to supplier performance, inventory levels, and logistics.
  • Mentor and support the development of the local supply chain team.
  • Collaborate across time zones to ensure global integration and alignment.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience with supplier development.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50%.

Preferred:
  • Experience establishing supply chain operations in new or international facilities (India preferred).
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, or other high-complexity manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Understanding of global trade compliance and import/export regulations.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Compensation:
•    Competitive base salary: $175,000 – $260,000
•    Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Compensation is determined based on several factors, including your experience level, skill set, certifications, and geographic location. Final offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and, where applicable, reference verification. Please note that military fellows and part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
