Senior Human Resources Specialist
Onsite – Michigan | Direct Hire | $80,000–$90,000 annually

Kelly Services is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Specialist to join our client's manufacturing company in Northville, Michigan. If you're passionate about driving HR excellence, supporting employees, and building a strong organizational culture, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact.
In this role, you'll manage a wide range of HR functions—from hiring and onboarding to performance management, policy development, and payroll administration. You'll work directly with leadership to ensure our HR practices are strategic, compliant, and people centered. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting—job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and help foster a positive workplace.
  • Develop and update HR policies; ensure alignment with employment laws.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities; create actionable reports.
  • Plan and execute employee training programs and development paths.
  • Partner with leadership on competitive and compliant programs.
  • Oversee the review process, from goal setting to evaluations.
  • Process payroll, administer benefits, and resolve employee inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, in a generalist or specialist role with manufacturing background required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HR systems and payroll software (Paycor or ADP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
