Screw Machine Operator (Davenport) – Training Available
$17–$30/hr | 2nd Shift | 4x10 Schedule | Rochester, NY

We're hiring for a Screw Machine Operator to join a fast-paced precision manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. This temp-to-hire position offers competitive pay based on experience, long-term opportunity, and the potential to train on highly specialized multi-spindle Davenport equipment.

Pay: $17–$30/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 4x10 shifts available

  • Start times as early as 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM
  • Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate or assist in the setup of Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
  • Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
  • Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
  • Monitor production quality and maintain tolerances
  • Maintain accurate production records and a clean, safe workspace

Qualifications:
  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience required 1-2yrs
  • Davenport or multi-spindle screw machine experience strongly preferred
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude
