Description

Kelly is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our FSP & Vita Global Sciences Workforce Solutions team located in Boston, MA.

 

Base Salary: $55,000/year + commission ($60,000-65,000/year estimated in total)
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite in Boston office

 

Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for driving new business opportunities, client engagements, and account penetration in the Life Sciences sector (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device & Diagnostic), focusing on workforce solutions (Consulting Services & Functional Service Provider/FSP). This role combines strategic outreach and rigorous prospecting to expand Kelly/VGS market share, generate qualified sales leads, and support proposal development through the lifecycle, leveraging industry best practices and technology for high-impact results.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Research target accounts and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Prospect and engage key decision-makers using personalized outreach strategies.
  • Schedule meetings for the global solutions team and increase RFP (Request for Proposal) activity.
  • Track and update all business development activities in HubSpot CRM.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor sales performance and pipeline progress.
  • Help organize client engagement activities such as webinars and industry events.
  • Regularly review metrics, report results, and support proposal development.
  • Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Teams, and Outlook for daily tasks and collaboration.

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, sales development, or account management within life sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostics) or workforce solutions sectors.
  • Experience in supporting or selling Functional Service Provider (FSP) solutions or consulting services in Life Sciences
  • Strong outbound prospecting and targeting skills.
  • Proficient with HubSpot or similar CRM for sales tracking
  • Experience coordinating webinars, conferences, or lead generation events preferred.
