Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • 6:00AM- 2:30 PM - 1st shift-Monday through Friday
  • $20.22 per hour

What's a typical day like as a Sanitation Operator?
  • Perform cleaning task throughout the facility, including peripheral areas, office areas and common areas of the facility.
  • Will be trained in performing and supporting process line cleaning procedures
  • Will be trained in master sanitation cleaning procedures: responsible for sweeping, mopping, and using floor scrubber in the plant per the master sanitation schedule
  • Upkeep of the general orderliness of the plant. To take it upon themselves to straighten rows, remove broken skids, clean up spills, etc.
  • Assist with recycling programs in place such as cardboard, plastic, etc. This includes using the baler for cardboard.
  • Will participate in task/work load handoffs with the oncoming shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use common cleaning equipment and general knowledge of cleaning compounds
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • 6+ months manufacturing/production/warehouse experience – preferred but not required
