Overview
Our client is a leader in manufacturing high-quality aluminum die-castings and steel castings for the automotive industry, with over 20 years of experience and a commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by combining technical expertise in die-casting and steel casting processes with strong sales and market development skills. This position is ideal for an aspiring sales engineering professional with 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or business development within the automotive parts manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients within the automotive industry, focusing on aluminum die-castings and steel castings applications.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts, ensuring technical feasibility, cost optimization, and industry compliance.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and OEMs.
  • Provide expert consultation on casting design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
  • Assist clients with manufacturing challenges, including porosity, tooling design, and cycle time optimization.
  • Develop and execute market strategies for new product lines.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, ROI analyses, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns and leverage analytics tools to optimize content and lead generation efforts.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, market development, or business development in the automotive parts manufacturing, die-casting, or steel casting industries.
  • Hands-on experience with high-pressure die casting, CNC machining, and material characterization.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and analytical tools for performance testing (e.g., FEA).
  • Knowledge of aluminum alloys, steel grades, and casting processes.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards such as IATF/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
  • Experience in product qualification processes, including DFMEA and RFQ.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct technical presentations to diverse audiences.
