Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8-hour shifts | Day shift
Expected Hours: 40 per week 8 hours – Monday – Friday l 1st shift

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Payment Poster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing insurance and patient payments, reconciling bank transactions, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and experience in payment posting and reading Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Responsibilities:

  • Pull and balance bank transactions within the practice management system.
  • Post denials and electronic remittance advices (ERAs).
  • Retrieve and review EOBs as needed.
  • Set up EFT/ACH and ERA enrollments.
  • Manage cloud-based software for payment and denial storage.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Specialists and Management.

Required Experience:
  • Payment Posting: 2 years
  • Reading Insurance EOBs: 2 years
  • End-of-Month Payment Balancing: 2 years
  • ERA / EFT Enrollments: 2 years
  • AdvancedMD: 1 year
  • Optum Pay Portal: 1 year
  • ECHO Portal: 1 year
  • Availity: 1 year
This position will begin as a remote role but may transition to an in-office setting later this year. The office location is currently being determined, with potential sites in Orting, Puyallup, Sumner, or Graham.
