Receiving Coordinator – West Palm Beach, FL

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Receiving Coordinator at one of our Global clients in West Palm Beach, FL.  This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Title: Receiving Coordinator
Location: West Palm Beach (33415)
Pay: open; plus benefits and PTO
Hours: M-F 8-hour first shift.
Duration: One-year contract (possible direct hire opportunity)

Summary: Receiving Coordinator: Cross-train to support shipping and receiving activities as needed: The transportation and shipping coordinator will be reporting to the Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Lead, looking for an experienced Receiving Coordinator who brings exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proven leadership capability, as this role will serve as the primary backup to the current Receiving Lead whenever they are out of office or unavailable. This position requires someone who can confidently make sound decisions, step into a leadership role when needed, and maintain accurate inventory records while overseeing the verification and movement of materials across both the Palm Beach Gardens site and the West Palm Beach warehouse. The ideal candidate must be able to adjust at a moment s notice to shifting priorities while still ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth daily operations. They will work closely with receiving, shipping, and cross functional teams to coordinate material flow, logistics, and reporting, providing reliable support to both warehouse locations and contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of our operations. Attention to detail, leadership strength, and excellent communication are absolutely critical in our next Level 3 Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
Transport and Shipping 70

  • Operate company vehicles to internal warehouse and external vendors.
  • Coordinate shipments to internal warehouse locations.
  • Prepare orders for delivery, including packaging and labeling.
  • Utilize FedEx and UPS terminals for shipping and tracking purposes.
  • Handle mailroom duties, such as sorting and distributing incoming mail.

Warehouse Operations 20
  • Organize inventory and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Operate machinery and equipment necessary for daily tasks.
  • Maintain the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Ensure accurate records of inventory and shipments.
Receiving 10
  • Load and unload trucks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage incoming shipments and verifying the accuracy of received goods.
  • Update documentation and computer systems with received goods information.
  • Collaborate with appropriate departments to resolve any discrepancies with received items. Note: These responsibilities are approximate percentages to provide a general understanding. The distribution of time spent on each task may vary depending on operational needs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • The capability to lift and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 75 lbs. with assistance or appropriate equipment.
  • The agility to navigate through a warehouse or distribution center, including climbing ladders, reaching high shelves, and accessing inventory in confined spaces.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driver's record.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification
  • Previous experience with FedEx and UPS terminals.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Box truck driving experience
  • Leadership experience
