Raw Lab Milk Receiver
Location: Cortland, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay: $23.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)
Status: Full-Time | Overnight Position Overview:
The Raw Lab Milk Receiver plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all incoming dairy ingredients. This position supports production by receiving, testing, documenting, and maintaining raw materials in accordance with FDA, NYS, SQF, and company standards. Core Responsibilities:

• Receive and test incoming raw milk, cream, sugars, oils, and CIP chemical tankers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Monitor silo selection, rotation, and testing
• Maintain accurate receiving logs and raw material documentation
• Perform and monitor Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems
• Inspect and maintain tankers, valves, gaskets, silos, and lines
• Maintain cleanliness of raw lab, tanker bays, and related areas
• Identify and report quality or food safety concerns
• Communicate with QA, production, maintenance, and drivers
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, SQF, and plant safety policies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or Ag-Tech preferred
• 6 months–2 years manufacturing experience (dairy/food preferred)
• SQF or quality systems experience preferred
• Strong math skills and attention to detail

Physical & Work Environment

• Lift up to 50 lbs. (with or without accommodation)
• Stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Work in food production and varying temperature conditions
• Wear required PPE at all times
