Job Title:
Quality Technician II, Sample Coordinator 
Location: West Chester, OH
Duration: 6 months + potential to convert to full time employee
Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8:00am-4:30pm
Rate: $24/hr.
 
Job Description: We are seeking (2) Quality Technician II, Sample Coordinator (Temporary) in West Chester, OH. These are temporary roles (6-month assignment) and will be onsite.
 
Position Summary: Performs sample receipt, including system log-in (as necessary), document checks and confirmation of materials submitted for testing by the QC Analytical and QC Microbiological departments. Assists with Retains and Stability programs, as required, under the supervision of the Stability and Retains coordinator. Performs additional tasks, including SOP authoring/modification; providing information to lab scheduling modules, and interacting with external departments to submit sample receipt; and retains as necessary.
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts sample receipt, including logging, storage, and delivering submitted samples for testing to requisite Analytical/Micro departments.
  • Liaise with the submission departments in cases of errors with sample submissions.
  • Assists with set downs of stability and retains materials, as required.
  • Assists with pulls of stability and retains materials as required.
  • Provides information regarding receipt; retains; stability to customer groups as requested.
  • Works within lab scheduling software to create lab scheduling record as part of receipt duties; as necessary.
  • Works within LIMS software to create ad-hoc samples as part of receipt duties; as necessary.
  • Authors/modifies SOPs and associated forms regarding sample receipt; stability; retains as necessary under supervision of QC Systems Manager and/or Stability and Retains coordinator.
  • Performs logbook management activities as necessary, including QADC archiving to satisfy records retention policies.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have the ability to effectively understand, read, write, communicate and follow instructions in the English language.
  • High school graduate, vocational school graduate or equivalent
  • Good attention to detail is required. Individual must be capable of keeping accurate records and performing mathematical calculations.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or cGXP regulated environment.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical environment supporting Quality Control.
