Join Kelly's team at our state-of-the-art facility in Roanoke, TX! We are currently seeking QA Lab Techs and QA Inspectors with a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in manufacturing and a stable work history.
Shift:
- 4 on / 4 off schedule
- 2 weeks days: 7am–7pm
- 2 weeks nights: 7pm–7am (rotating)
Pay Rate:
- QA Lab Tech: $26.00/hour (Temp to Hire)
- QA Inspector: $22.00/hour (Temp to Hire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laboratory analytical equipment (ICP, LECO, optical microscopes, dimensional analysis, magnetometry)
- Operate advanced characterization equipment and perform data analysis (XRD, XRF, SEM)
- Record and review analytical results in LIMS/database
- Support testing method development and validation under guidance of the Quality team
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Assist with chemical inventory tracking
- Perform lab housekeeping and routine inspections
- Conduct routine statistical analysis (SQC) on quality data
- Participate in Gage R&R and measurement system assessments
- Contribute to Kaizen events and safety programs, adhering to all lab safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of lab experience in manufacturing
- Aptitude and experience with chemical testing techniques and instrumentation
- Associate's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or relevant work experience
- Familiarity with computers, data entry, and analysis
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in IATF 16949 compliant manufacturing environments is a plus
- Experience with chemical test methods and material characterization of rare earth materials is a plus
