Location: Bedford Park, IL
Pay: 20/hr
1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assuranceposition. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's quality system, including ISO certificate renewals, performing quality audits and ensuring quality procedures are followed during production. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, preferably in steel, forging or machining.
 
Essential Functions:

• Experience with PPAP, FMEA, APQP and GD&T a must.
• Perform dimensional studies, layouts and capability studies and summarize results.
• Implement, monitor and control of corrective actions.
• Participate in customer RMA's/complaint investigations.
• Document control
• Maintain gauge calibrations.
• Practice safe work habits and follow safety rules.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• • Knowledge and Experience using inspection equipment (calipers, height gages, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PPAP & ISIR reporting
  • Have a continual improvement mindset.
  • Solid working knowledge using various software (SPC, as well as Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
