Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20+ per hour Shift: Sunday thru Thursday 10:30pm to 7:30am Why you should apply to be Quality Control Inspector:

What's a typical day as Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
  • Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic, sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies, and electronic/electro-mechanical components for conformance to customer specifications
  • Documenting quality results and completing data entry in real-time
  • Providing feedback to engineers and entering data into internal databases
  • Obtaining and maintaining drawings and procedures from internal systems
  • Conducting inspections on various production lines as needed, including using IPC-A-610 Standards and visual aids
  • Directing products for rework and confirming completion
  • Interfacing with source inspectors and arranging documentation packages for first article requirements
  • Performing process audits and ensuring proper staging and coordination of product processing steps
  • Conducting customer quality assurance, in-process, final, or incoming inspections as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and accuracy in work area and work-in-process
  • Participating in additional training and, if needed, training other employees
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have an Associate's Degree in a related field (electronics focus preferred) and at least 2+ years of experience in inspection within a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment
  • Hold IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification
  • Are familiar with operating a 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machine
  • Can perform inspections by following blueprint instructions and written procedures
  • Have knowledge of basic electro-mechanical tools and hand tools (multi-meters, calipers, wrenches, torque drivers, etc.)
  • Can interpret detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams
  • Have experience using ERP systems, as well as basic computer, problem solving, mathematical, and workstation skills
  • Possess strong organizational, reading comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Are self-motivated, able to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Have ESD Training; ISO 9001 experience is a plus
  • Are a US Person as defined by 22 CFR Part 120.15 due to ITAR-controlled technical data requirements
