Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. This role is critical in ensuring product quality and compliance across all stages of development and production. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience in root cause analysis, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, labs, prototype centers, and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute 8D problem-solving processes to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys methodology.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Ensure quality standards are met across product development, prototype, and production manufacturing.
  • Work cross-functionally with all engineering teams, including labs and prototype centers, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support quality initiatives and provide guidance on best practices for defect prevention and resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for quality processes and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive quality engineering or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of 8D, 5 Whys, and DFMEA methodologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards and quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
