Quality Control Technician

Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm Overview The Client is an industry-leading company committed to delivering high-quality products through rigorous quality control standards. In this role, you will support laboratory testing, production monitoring, and data management to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements. Responsibilities General - Executes standard QC testing methods and enters results into the Client database.
- Maintains quality control laboratory equipment and ensures proper standardization and record keeping.
- Maintains familiarity with Client policies regarding quality control, food security, sanitation, cGMPs, HACCP/food safety, and SQF.
- Monitors production activities related to cGMPs, product quality, and food safety.
- Supports other lab personnel in tasks, projects, and audits. Sampling & Sample Management - Safely obtains non-microbiological laboratory samples using proper tools and containers.
- Catalogs, organizes, retrieves, and stores samples appropriately. Testing and Analysis - Performs basic benchtop chemistry: measuring, weighing, portioning, mixing, and cleaning work areas.
- Understands analytical concepts and obtains results for Specific Gravity, Density, pH, Brix/Refractive Index, and Chemical Concentrations. Auditing and Inspections - Reviews assigned QC and production records.
- Reviews COAs and other documentation for incoming materials (ingredients and packaging). Requirements - Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in the natural sciences.
- Experience performing testing and analysis in a manufacturing or academic laboratory.
