Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Lab Associate near Romeoville, IL.

Direct Hire
Shift:
Monday - Friday 9pm-5am 
Compensation: based on experience 

The QC/Production Associate I will play a crucial role in the production of drug products by operating radiosynthesizers and analytical equipment for quality control. The role involves synthesizing FDG and NaF, conducting quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMP documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform FDG and NaF synthesis following SOPs.
  • Ensure acceptance of materials/reagents within SOPs and expiry.
  • Qualify equipment before use and operate the synthesis unit.
  • Learn operational principles and assist in routine maintenance of the synthesis unit.
  • Conduct QC processes for FDG and NaF according to SOPs.
  • Assist in basic maintenance of QC equipment.
  • Calibrate and qualify QC equipment before use.
  • Operate QC equipment according to SOPs.
  • Complete applicable cGMP documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management and reporting.
  • Communicate with support resources to troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform computer-controlled cyclotron operations under advisement.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow radiation safety duties per SOPs and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain qualification for entering ISO classified areas.
  • Clean classified and non-classified areas according to SOPs.
  • Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas.
  • Report manufacturing metrics into the data repository.
  • Open change controls and initiate, maintain, and review procedures.
  • Complete cGMP documents, including investigations, CAPAs, deviations, etc.
  • Attend internal meetings as required.
  • Other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences. Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Technical experience with computer-controlled automation preferred.
  • Efficient in MS Office Suite required.
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends required.
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, patient, organized, and team-oriented.
  • Professional communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift ~50 lbs. required.
