Quality Control Laboratory Analyst (Food Manufacturing) About the Role
This role is responsible for performing chemical, microbiological, and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
This position requires hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, R/D testing, and laboratory quality documentation within a food or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform chemical, microbiological, and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Conduct routine quality tests including pH, water activity, alcohol, moisture, Brix, and total nitrogen.

Operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments including:

Metrohm Titrator (salt analysis)

Shimadzu Gas Chromatograph (alcohol analysis)

Gerhardt Dumatherm (nitrogen determination)

Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Maintain aseptic techniques under laminar flow hoods and manage sterilization and autoclave procedures.

Document results in QA/QC records, spreadsheets, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

Report out-of-specification (OOS) results and support production teams with batch calculations and adjustments.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or related scientific field preferred.

Experience in food manufacturing, fermentation, or laboratory quality control.

Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and R/D testing.

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams.
