Project Engineer – Building Materials Company

Essential Experience:

• Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate alternative solutions, and justify the capital required to implement optimal solutions.
• Experience working as a team member in cross-functional groups, representing diverse perspectives.
• Strong understanding of the relationship and interconnectivity between operations, maintenance, utility optimization, technical training, scheduling, safety, environmental, and other activities.
• Hands-on experience with machine or process layout.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar systems, with a willingness to adapt to the AutoCAD platform.

Leadership Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and analytically.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to seeking out improvement opportunities within the framework of overall strategic goals.
• Demonstrated leadership as a creative and innovative self-starter, with a strong grasp of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to develop productive and beneficial business relationships with internal and external individuals and groups.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in an industrial setting.
