We are seeking a driven and experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of new product development projects from concept through launch. In this highly collaborative, remote role, you'll utilize your technical expertise and program management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, drive schedules, manage budgets, and deliver results. Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on program management activities. Experience with liquid cooling or thermal management technologies is a strong plus, as is familiarity with UL and EMC testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive project execution for new product development, from requirements gathering through launch and post-release evaluation.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, ensuring clear communication and coordinated action plans.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risk, and deliverables with a focus on hitting milestones and achieving program objectives.
- Utilize technical background to support teams in troubleshooting, decision making, and solution development.
- Monitor and report project status to leadership, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Ensure programs comply with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including UL and EMC testing.
- Advocate for integration of liquid cooling and/or thermal management solutions when applicable.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technical, or related discipline (required).
- 5+ years of program or project management experience, particularly with new product development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous product development projects.
- Strong technical background; prior hands-on engineering experience preferred.
- Familiarity with UL and EMC testing requirements.
- Experience or exposure to liquid cooling technologies or thermal management is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organization, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a remote environment.
- PMP or similar certification.
- Knowledge of additional compliance standards (IEC, CE, CSA).
- Experience with project management tools/software.
