Job Title: Production Technician I – HPLC
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm 
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Summary:
The Production Technician I – HPLC is responsible for manufacturing a variety of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) columns. Success in this role requires excellent organization, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pack diverse sorbents in column hardware using HPLC, Gemini, Heat, and Semi-prep techniques.
  • Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for critical processes.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Prepare packing and slurry solvents per instructions.
  • Verify and inspect materials for quality.
  • Perform data entry in TSA and AX computer systems.
  • Efficiently schedule work (production cards) in order of priority.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Production environment experience strongly preferred; 2 to 3 years preferred but flexible.
  • Associate's Degree or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors/defects.
  • Ability to plan and assign resources effectively.
Physical Demands:
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required for distinguishing objects.
Safety:
  • Supports a culture of safety and environmental protection.
  • Responsible for safe operation of equipment and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Uses appropriate personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazards.
