Production Operator – ECC Operator B
Pay Rate: $19.38/hour + 10% shift differential
(Pay rate may vary based on experience)
Shift:

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Training Schedule: 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) for approximately 1–3 months, depending on training progression, prior to transfer to 2nd shift
Interview Requirement: Interviews will be scheduled after 4:00 PM and may be conducted by phone or in person
Position SummaryThe ECC Operator B is responsible for supporting efficient and effective manufacturing production by operating ECC saws, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment and work areas. This role requires prior manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude. Warehouse-only experience is not a fit for this position.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate and perform quality verification on a variety of ECC saws involving close tolerances

Perform routine and repetitive production operations while consistently meeting quality and production standards

Conduct in-process quality inspections using fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices

Read and follow drawings, specifications, and traveler instructions (with supervision as needed)

Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure parts are manufactured to specifications

Identify issues related to equipment, quality, or process and communicate them to the Area Lead

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements

Perform multiple production operations as required

Lubricate, clean, and maintain machines as necessary

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all company, department, safety, and quality policies and procedures

Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

Perform related duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Previous experience operating ECC saws or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus

Manufacturing experience required (machine shop or production environment preferred)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, and specifications
Physical Demands:

Occasional walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, and reaching

Frequent use of hands to handle tools, controls, and materials

Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
