Pay Rate: $17 per hour| Contract - 3 months| Schedule: Monday-Thursday

What's a typical day as a Production Operator? You'll be:
  1. Manage and execute daily production operations including coating, winding, finishing, and related equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
  2. Track and report production performance by monitoring output, material usage, and process efficiency; provide timely recommendations to improve quality, productivity, and overall operational success.
  3. Maintain expertise in SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices, applying technical knowledge to ensure compliance with company standards and continuous improvement in production processes.
  4. Ensure product quality and compliance with specifications, delivering flawless execution of production deliverables that align with company standards and customer expectations.
  5. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop detailed production schedules, timelines, and resource tracking, while actively participating in team meetings to share updates on progress and results.
  6. Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment by maintaining machinery, tools, and work areas in clean condition, following company policies, labelling hazardous waste properly, and modelling ethical behaviour.
  7. Support workforce development and continuous improvement by training and guiding less experienced employees, attending company-sponsored training sessions, and participating in quality, safety, waste reduction, and lean initiatives.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing, production, or related industrial environment (or equivalent).
  • Ability to operate and monitor production equipment with strong manual dexterity.
  • Competence in reading and following SOPs, labels, and detailed instructions accurately.
  • Skilled in using computers and internal software systems for data entry and reporting.
  • Experience in equipment setup, adjustment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong focus on safety, environmental awareness, lean principles, and waste reduction practices.
  • High attention to detail in executing production tasks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
