Production Line Operator/Bottling Production
$22/hr
4:00am-2:30pm M-Thurs (4 tens)
Preston, WA
Temp-hire after 520hours


Job Summary:
As a Production Line Operator for Bottling and Canning for a Beverage Company in Preston, WA. You will be responsible for operating production packaging equipment, ensuring quality checks, and contributing to our positive plant culture. This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on and see your hard work come to life.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Preston, WA
- Pay Rate: $22/hour + shift differential for hours worked outside of 1st shift
- Shift: 4:00am-1230pm or 4:00am-2:30pm M-F or M-Thurs


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate production packaging equipment, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot basic issues that may arise during production.
- Down stack pallets of product in a consistently safe manner.
- Ensure the accuracy of raw materials and their availability to avoid downtime.
- Complete all quality and operational paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track and record pallet numbers correctly on the QA inspection sheet.
- Verify that products and components match the scheduled runs and current specification sheet.
- Continuously inspect packages for quality and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams in the plant, such as warehouse, production, QA team, and maintenance.
- Adhere to food safety, quality, and SQF practices.


Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in the food production industry.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to read instructions carefully.
- Willingness to accommodate overtime, work other shifts, and weekends occasionally.
- Physical ability to stand for approximately 95% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Strong vision to ensure cleanliness and inspect equipment.
- Flexibility to kneel, bend, or stoop to work under and around certain areas and equipment.
- Proficiency in handling containers, spray bottles of chemicals, and high-pressure water and air hoses.
