Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary/Compensation: $40-$43/hour, commensurate with experience
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Location: Hybrid-Remote/Travel to Vineyard Wind Offices

What's a typical day as a Production Engineer Technical Writer? You'll be:
• Developing, drafting, revising, and finalizing local field instructions and maintenance documentation to support operational and maintenance activities.
• Reviewing and updating maintenance field instructions and approved work packages for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with GE Vernova and Vineyard Wind standards.
• Ensuring all safety assessments and personal protective equipment requirements are clearly documented within work instructions.
• Collaborating with health, safety, and environmental teams to validate compliance and best practices.
• Utilizing various technical writing and document control systems, including Oracle, Corella, Cora, RACES, Lifespan, Smartsheet, GoCodes, Maximo, and SharePoint.
• Coordinating with engineering teams, technical writers, and project stakeholders to collect feedback and validate the accuracy of all instructions and procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a bachelor's degree in English, preferably
• Possess strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a focus on simplifying complex technical concepts.
• Bring prior experience in the wind industry and a background working with GE or similar energy organizations.
• Demonstrate expertise in technical writing, especially developing work instructions for operational and maintenance activities.
• Have completed offshore safety training and understand rigorous safety compliance requirements.
• Are familiar with technical authoring languages such as XML and SGML.
• Exhibit strong organizational and project management skills and are comfortable working across multiple document management systems.
