Job Title: Production Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Note: Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. Hours are subject to change.

Job Summary:
As a Production Associate, you will work under the guidance of a supervisor to meet production targets while ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act independently and effectively under limited supervision.
- Transfer products from the filler to the chiller, maintaining accuracy in operations.
- Notify supervisors of any discrepancies in product information promptly.
- Manage the organization and transfer of production carts in and out of chillers, placing them systematically in the Work In Progress (WIP) area.
- Align products correctly in the Garvey table area.
- Flip trays in chillers as required.
- Rework any products that do not meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to the “5S” methodology.
- Foster a safe working environment at all times.
- Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist in transferring to the kitchen area as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Competencies (Skills & Abilities):
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehension of verbal and written instructions; basic mathematical skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent activity including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear personal protective equipment during work.
- Capability to work in noisy environments and across various temperature zones (including cold/hot environments) for extended periods, which may also involve exposure to dust.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
