Job Title: Production Assistant (all 3 shifts available)
Location: Taunton, MA
Pay Range: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM

3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:45 PM – 8:00 AM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Production Assistant to support final production steps and packaging of customer orders. This role may also involve assisting on production lines depending on business needs.

Perform final product inspection to ensure quality standards are met

Package finished goods for shipment

Print, label, and apply identification to products as needed

Assist with specialized tasks such as tip forming, scoring, and collection

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Shut down equipment when not in use

Follow all company safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Perform other related duties as assigned

Serve as backup support for team members as needed

Assist on production lines during extrusion, including monitoring machine alerts, performing quality checks, and collecting spools

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new employees

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately

Willingness to adapt to changing duties and priorities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Typical manufacturing environment with possible exposure to noise and moving machinery

Requires standing or sitting for extended periods

Must be available for flexible scheduling including morning, second, or evening shifts, depending on production needs
