Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Product Design Engineer for our client in Chattanooga, TN. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company that manufactures large construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the Product Design and Development (PDD) process.
• Contribute to product design meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct design assessments for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain engineering documentation and uphold safety standards.
• Assist peers and provide timely responses to design issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in product design and development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with project management capabilities.
