Job Title: Process Planning Engineer
Location: Milan, IL (Onsite)
Assignment Length: 21 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $43.00 per hour
Shift Information: 1st Shift (flexible; most of the team is onsite 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Work Environment: Fully onsite; metatarsal safety boots required on Day 1.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with solid data analysis and CAD experience who are ready to work directly with warehouse operations and improvement projects.

 

Position Overview:
As a Process Planning Engineer, you will support data collection and review for warehouse layouts, verify operating system data, and lead tactical optimization projects across multiple facilities. You'll analyze facility system readiness, generate gap analyses, and construct accurate AutoCAD representations to assist in reconfiguration and data projects that support US regional distribution centers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review, and analyze key data points for physical warehouse layouts
  • Verify legacy warehouse operating system data
  • Lead/support tactical warehouse optimization projects across multiple facilities
  • Populate data sets for system readiness and conduct gap analyses
  • Validate and construct accurate AutoCAD representations of warehouse layouts
  • Assist engineering team with execution of reconfiguration and data projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with data analysis and data tools
  • Proficiency with CAD (AutoCAD preferred)
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Warehouse experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Technology field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (recent graduates not considered)
