Process Development Scientist — Biotechnology Industry
Location: Juncos, PR
Salary: $43.00/hr
Shift: Administrative (must support a 24/7 operation, including extended hours, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed)

We are seeking a Process Development Scientist for a leading client in the biotechnology sector.
Required Qualifications:
- MS degree in sciences or engineering and 2+ years of directly related experience, OR BS degree in sciences or engineering and 4+ years of directly related experience (Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred).
- Relevant experience in a commercial GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with strong preference for formulation and aseptic filling operations.
- Advanced scientific analysis and troubleshooting skills; expertise in protein science, formulation, and filling processes.
- Hands-on experience with process monitoring, data trending, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP).
- Experience supporting deviations, investigations, and product impact assessments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration; bilingual in English & Spanish, with technical writing experience for regulatory documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work irregular shifts as business needs require
- Conceive, design, implement, and execute scientific experiments to achieve project objectives.
- Design, monitor, or conduct experimental strategies and interpret results.
- Provide input for new processes to ensure robust and reliable data generation.
- Analyze and interpret data, assessing its impact on projects.
- Ensure studies comply with protocols, guidelines, and regulations.
- Support process monitoring, data trending, and root cause analysis for deviations, investigations, and product impact assessments.
