Press Brake Laser Table Operator

CONFIDENTIAL COMPANY | Coppell, TX
Full-Time | 2nd Shift
$22.00 per hour

Job Summary

A confidential metal fabrication company located in Coppell, TX is seeking a skilled Press Brake Laser Table Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating both press brake machines and laser cutting tables to fabricate precision metal components. The ideal candidate has experience in metal forming, blueprint reading, and CNC equipment operation, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule
  • 2nd Shift:

  • Sunday–Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 1:15 AM

  • Thursday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

  • Overtime may be required based on production needs

    Key Responsibilities

    Press Brake Operations

    • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, and form metal parts

    • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders

    • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and back gauges to meet precise tolerances

    • Inspect finished components for quality and compliance

    • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues

    Laser Table Operations

    • Set up and operate laser cutting tables for metal materials

    • Safely load/unload sheet metal onto cutting tables

    • Modify machine settings based on material type and thickness

    • Monitor cut quality and make adjustments as needed

    • Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting

    Qualifications & Skills
    • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and tolerances

    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose machine issues

    • Proficient with measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, tape measures

    • Forklift experience a plus

    • Basic computer skillsplus

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

    • High attention to detail and safety
