We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Prescription Care Liaison. In this key role, you will process prescription referrals, perform accurate data entry, manage referral documentation, and ensure the seamless flow of information between providers, pharmacies, and our internal teams.
Payrate: $23.50hr /Med, Dental, Vision, PTO
Location: Remote (Must live in Pittsburgh, PA/Phoenix, AZ/ Raleigh, NC/ Orlando, FL
Shift: Must be available to work a shift between 8am-8pm EST
Purpose:
The Care Liaison (CL) serves as the primary contact for prescription referrals, handling intake, data entry, referral processing, outbound mail, and triaging inquiries. The CL will work cross-functionally with operations teams to support the patient service program, including reimbursement, case management, and pharmacy triage.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for prescription referrals and inquiries
- Execute end-to-end processes for data entry and referral triage
- Support intake and referral processing, including inbound fax handling
- Prepare outbound mail and faxes for patients and prescribers
- Problem-solving discrepancies in patient, prescriber, or insurance information
- Maintain adherence to patient privacy laws (HIPAA)
- Foster collaborative relationships across teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years solid customer service experience
- Ability to efficiently navigate multiple screens/systems and thrive in a remote, high-volume regulated environment
- Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work an assigned 8-hour shift between 8am–8pm EST
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or undergraduate degree
- 2+ years' healthcare setting experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards
- Understanding of medical terminology, NDC, ICD-10, and insurance
- Bilingual in Spanish (reading/writing/speaking)
