Executive Summary
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and high-performing Platform Innovation Account Manager to join our client's Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding merchants partners to innovative products—including a confidential new offering—while maximizing customer satisfaction and product adoption. You will act as a strategic advisor, collaborating cross-functionally to collect feedback, drive merchant growth, minimize churn, and provide an exceptional partner experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small/medium business restaurant partners in your region and provide ongoing, strategic account management
  • Conduct regular check-ins, understand unique business needs, collect product feedback, and provide guidance to help partners fully utilize our client's solutions
  • Communicate partner progress and insights to Strategy, Operations, Product, and cross-functional teams
  • Identify expansion opportunities, minimize churn, and drive increased adoption and retention for products
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Sales to ensure outstanding partner onboarding and ongoing experience
  • Serve as a key liaison for both partners and internal teams, translating feedback and providing actionable insights
  • Travel domestically to the Northeast region once per month for in-person partner engagement
Skills & Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of professional experience with demonstrated success and increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in project management and/or account management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with partners, problem-solve, and adapt to meet diverse restaurant needs
  • Proven ability to translate partner feedback for internal product and operational teams
  • Comfortable with both technical products and hardware
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Flawless execution, attention to detail, and willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
Nice to Have
  • Background in technology, restaurant, hospitality, or platform solutions industries
  • Experience supporting new product launch and adoption for business clients
