Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80915
? Pay Rate: $34.89/hour
? Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
? Employment Type: 6-month contract (potential to convert to full-time based on upcoming work)
? Work Setup: Onsite, industrial manufacturing environment

? What's a typical day as a Pipe Fitter I? You will:

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.

  • Cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems using hand and power tools.

  • Install pipe supports, valves, and fittings to ensure proper system functionality and safety.

  • Weld, solder, or glue pipe joints based on material and application requirements.

  • Test piping systems for leaks and integrity, making necessary adjustments or repairs.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged or existing piping systems.

  • Follow all safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet production and project deadlines.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Journeyman Pipe Fitter certification (highly preferred).

  • Proven pipe fitting experience in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.

  • Strong PVC piping experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Experience working with PVC, copper, steel, and other pipe materials.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and safe use of hand and power tools.

  • Welding certification (a plus).
