Parts Inspector – Lebanon, OH
Join a global, industry-leading manufacturer specializing in advanced tube and wire forming equipment! We are seeking a skilled Parts Inspector / Quality Control Technician for a full-time, direct hire role at our Lebanon, OH facility. Work in a clean, high-precision, engineer-to-order environment where quality, craftsmanship, and innovation come first.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:
  • $22-$24/hr
     
Role Summary
The Parts Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying precision-machined components to ensure they meet engineering and quality standards. This role requires strong measurement skills, blueprint reading ability, and a keen eye for detail. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, assembly, and supplier teams to uphold quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts according to engineering specifications and defined inspection criteria.
  • Measure dimensions using micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparator, CMM, and other precision tools.
  • Test products for dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical integrity.
  • Document, disposition, and report defective parts; coordinate rework or reuse.
  • Maintain calibration records and monitor gage due dates using quality software.
  • Evaluate supplier-manufactured components and customer-returned materials (RMA).
  • Communicate deviations clearly to engineering, supervision, and production teams.
  • Support additional quality or inspection projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of parts inspection, machining, or quality control experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality concepts.
  • Proficient with CMMs and precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain excellent attention to detail.
