Kelly Science is seeking a part time Laboratory Technician for a growing company located in Cambridge, MA.
 
Pay: $27/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday (4 hours per day)
Employment Type: 6 month-12 month contract
 
Job responsibilities include:

• Assist with shipping and receiving of laboratory materials, following all required training protocols.
• Manage deliveries of supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee 3rd Party Preventative Maintenance services for lab and facility equipment.
• Safely change lab gas tanks as needed to maintain appropriate supply for experiments.
• Promptly resolve equipment alarms and notify relevant parties to minimize operational disruption.
• Fill and maintain distilled water at required levels in laboratory incubators.
• Support scientists with minor equipment moves, gas line hook-ups, and other small facility tasks as requested.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a scientific related field preferred. High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years working within a GMP environment preferably supporting laboratory operations as well as some warehouse responsibilities.
•  Must be able to work part time/20 hours per week.
