Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator
Location: Fort Mill
Shift: 7am - 5pm
Pay Rate: $18.00
Employment Type: Full Time 
 

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner. You'll help ensure that all containers are filled, sealed, and labeled accurately according to company and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate packaging machines in accordance with established procedures.

  • Fill, secure, and label containers based on customer specifications and packaging invoices.

  • Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.

  • Maintain production efficiency by ensuring accurate, timely output.

  • Conduct quality checks to verify packaged goods against specifications.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

  • Work under immediate supervision with guidance from a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 0–3 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with commonly used concepts and procedures in a production environment.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor repairs or adjustments.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Information:

  • This position may involve standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motions.

  • Safety gear (PPE) must be worn as required.

  • Selected candidates must be reliable and punctual.
