Job Description: Outside Sales Specialist
Location: Erie, PA
Position Type: Full-Time, direct hire
Salary: 40-50K base + commissions
Travel: Company-provided car; flexibility to cover a territory within a 45-minute to 2-hour radius
Work Schedule: Flexible hours; on-call availability in off hours for customer visits as needed

Notes: will be visiting business and residential locations after loss, relatable experience that translates well into this role: field insurance adjuster, Red Cross – etc and similar backgrounds
Overview: As an Outside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with potential customers and centers of influence (COIs). You will be expected to meet and exceed sales quotas while providing exceptional customer satisfaction and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and achieve territory goals.
- Increase sales revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.
- Conduct objective-to-objective daily marketing contacts and maintain COI information.
- Identify and develop the “Target 25” (Top 25 contacts to develop into clients).
- Customer Relations:
- Communicate effectively with COIs to resolve concerns via face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or emails.
- Build rapport with customers and educate them on the benefits of the company as the leading cleaning and restoration company.
- Create and implement a marketing plan to enhance community reach and generate referrals.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Complete and submit Daily and Weekly Activity Reports, including sources of jobs and account summaries.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with owners and marketing managers to discuss strategies and send referrals.
- Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss the benefits of emergency event preparation.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in professional associations and networking events to increase referrals and community engagement.
- Continuously develop sales skills and improve professional sales abilities.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Understand and comply with safety and risk management guidelines both in the office and while traveling.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Flexibility to work off hours and availability to be on-call for customer visits.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks® and marketing software (WorkCenter™ Marketing) a plus
- Ability to understand production and estimating processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
